Privacy Notice

We are very pleased about your interest in our website.

It is very important for us to protect your personal data when it is collected, processed and used during your visit to our website. Your data is protected in accordance with legal regulations.

Please take a moment to read the information below, where you will find more details about how we handle your personal information, how and for what purpose this data is used, with whom we share this information, and how we protect your personal information.

Your personal rights are our top priority and we make every effort to protect and safeguard these rights.

Collection and processing of data

We log every access to our website and every retrieval of any file stored on the website. This serves internal system-related and statistical purposes. The following are logged: Name of retrieved file, date and time of retrieval, volume of transferred data, notification of successful retrieval, web browser, visited pages and requesting domain.

Additionally, the IP addresses of the requesting computers are logged. However, as this website performs IP anonymisation, your IP address will be truncated, so that it is no longer possible to identify you individually.

Insofar as personal data (such as name, address, e-mail address, etc.) is collected on this website, this is done overtly and with your voluntary consent.

The personal data potentially provided by you when contacting us is collected, used and stored by us within the framework of the provisions of the Telemedia Act [Telemediengesetz] and the Federal Data Protection Act []. You may revoke your consent at any time.

Use and disclosure of your personal data

Insofar as you have provided us with personal data, for example through contact forms, newsletter registration, the online shop, e-mail or letter correspondence, ordering of promotional materials (magazines, information brochures, catalogues), we observe the German data protection regulations and only use this data to respond to your queries, to establish, process or terminate a contract with you or for the purpose of technical administration.

Your personal data will only be forwarded or otherwise transmitted to affiliated companies or external third parties if this is necessary for the purpose of responding to your queries, fulfilling the contract (in particular, sharing order data with service providers and / or suppliers, etc.), if this is required for billing purposes or if you have previously given us your consent. You have the right to revoke your consent at any time, with effect for the future.

You have the right, upon request, to obtain information about the personal data stored about you. The information will be provided free of charge. In addition, in accordance with the statutory provisions, you have the right to have this personal data corrected, blocked and deleted.

All your personal data and other information that you provide to us via the contact form on our website or in the course of an application will only be collected, processed and used to manage and answer your query or application. Your data will be forwarded to us by e-mail by our provider and deleted or blocked immediately after answering your query, provided that no statutory storage requirements apply. Your data will not be used for another purpose and it will not be transferred to third parties.

You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time, with effect for the future.

Online application

We will only use the personal data that you submit in order to process your application for the specific vacancy at one of the affiliated companies of the Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group. Your personal data will only be accessible to persons who are involved in the application process.

To carry out the application process, we use the service of Haufe-umantis AG. The data will be transmitted to the service provider using 128-bit encryption. Your data will be stored and processed on the systems of our software partner Haufe-umantis AG.

In addition, we will not disclose your personal data to third parties, unless you have consented to the data transfer or we are required to transfer data by law and/or regulatory or court orders. The data will not be used for any other purpose.

Within three months of the completion of the specific application process, your data will be automatically deleted. This does not apply insofar as legal provisions preclude deletion, further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence or if you wish to prolong storage, e.g., you have explicitly agreed to be included in the Talent Pool.

You have the right to revoke your consent to the processing of your data at any time, with effect for the future.

You have the right, upon request, to obtain information about the personal data stored about you. The information will be provided free of charge. In addition, in accordance with the statutory provisions, you have the right to have this personal data corrected, blocked and deleted.

Talent Pool

If you decide to be included in the Talent Pool, the affiliated companies of the Hanomag Lohnhärterei Group may access your personal data for prospective job assignments. You can join the Talent Pool by accepting a recruiter's invitation or pro-actively using the "Contact Us" form. If you have agreed to be included in the Talent Pool, your data will be kept for 12 months and then deleted.

Protection of the stored data

We use technical and organisational security measures to protect your personal data against manipulation, loss, destruction or access by unauthorised persons. Our security measures are constantly being improved and adapted according to the current level of technology. Third-party access to data disclosed without encryption cannot be ruled out. Please note that the security of transmission cannot be guaranteed when transmitting data over the Internet (e.g., when communicating by e-mail). Sensitive data should therefore either not be transmitted at all or only via a secure connection (SSL).

Protection of minors

The consent to the processing of personal data can only be given by a person of legal age. In principle, however, no data is collected from minors.

Storage of anonymised data / cookies

This website collects and stores usage data in anonymous form. For this purpose, so-called "cookies" can be used. These are text files that are stored on your computer which allow an analysis of your use of our website. However, these collect and save data exclusively in pseudonymous form. They are not used to identify you personally and are not merged with any data regarding the bearer of the pseudonym. We use this information to determine the attractiveness of our website and to continually improve its content.
